Living Room (ground floor)

A lovely warm & inviting room 2 storeys high with a cathedral ceiling with the original exposed oak beams; rendered white stone walls, polished floorboards & rugs & 2 sets of French doors opening out onto the L shaped terrace. It comprises of a large comfortable 3 piece lounge suite, coffee table, standard lamps, bookshelves with many books & magazines for reading & brochures on villages & tours etc. Colour tv with satellite reception, hi-fi stereo cd cassette player with a wide selection music on cd & tape, telephone/fax machine, large fireplace with glass door & 2 speed fan. Overhead ceiling fans.

Kitchen & Dining (first floor)

with a huge open fireplace (with cast iron wood fired s/c heater), overhead beams & polished timber floor, is full of warmth & character. It has an antique sideboard & a polished wooden table for 8 people. It overlooks a garden of vines, walnut trees, flowers & vegetables. The kitchen has a gas oven, a mini electric oven/grill, microwave oven, refrigerator & small kitchen appliances, cookware, good quality cutlery, crockery, glassware etc

Heating

Lounge: new large combustion heater & gas heater.

Kitchen/Dining: cast iron wood fire & gas heaters

Bedrooms: all have new electric heaters

Good quality linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels, face washers, table place mats & table cloths and tea towels included in rental.

Telephone / Fax

We recommend Australian guests obtain a "telecard" before leaving - this enables you to charge calls to your home number and hence access Australian rates which are much cheaper than European rates.
